Engage the anti-opening lock to ensure the hasp lock is securely fastened and cannot be opened unauthorizedly. Verify that the equipment is locked out and cannot be operated. When the work is completed and it is safe to remove the lockout, all authorized personnel must remove their padlocks, then disengage the anti-opening lock and release the hasp lock from the equipment.
