Overview
The D-Type Spiral Wound Gasket with Inner and Outer Rings is engineered for high-pressure, high-temperature sealing in critical industrial piping and vessel flanges. Manufactured to the stringent HG/T20610-2009 standard, this gasket features a robust metal winding combined with a resilient filler, creating a reliable seal that accommodates flange rotation and surface irregularities. It is specifically configured for a nominal pipe size of 10 (approximately 0.84 inches) and a pressure class of PN16 (approximately 232 PSI).
Key Features
Construction with a 304 stainless steel inner ring and a 316L stainless steel outer ring for structural stability and corrosion resistance. The sealing element consists of alternating layers of 316L stainless steel windings and flexible graphite filler. The graphite filler provides excellent thermal conductivity and sealability across a wide temperature range. The inner ring prevents gasket blow-out and protects the winding from internal media erosion. The outer ring centers the gasket during installation and provides handling strength. Designed for use with raised face flanges according to the specified dimensional standard.
