Overview
This spiral wound gasket is engineered for high-pressure, high-integrity sealing in critical flange connections. It is constructed with alternating layers of 316L stainless steel windings and a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) filler, creating a resilient seal that conforms to flange face imperfections. The design incorporates integral inner and outer retaining rings, which provide structural stability to prevent gasket blow-out or buckling under extreme compression and pressure cycling. It is suitable for systems operating at pressures up to approximately 363 PSI.
